CA Blogging Assignment 6

Garreau defined the future which has three types of people, "Natural", "Enhanced" and "The Rest" as "the law of unintended consequences". For me, this future can have a lot of consequences in either good or bad way. One of the consequences I think is that discrimination between those three types. The reason for this that we still have a lot of discrimination among many classifications. There can be some "Natural" people who hate "Enhanced" people since "Enhanced" people are modified by genetic engineering and vice versa. Also, "The Rest" people who cannot have choice of "Natural" or "Enhanced" will likely to embrace complex. Therefore, "the law of unintended consequences" means to me that there is more possibilities of social problems in the future.

    Mmm, classifying things is our human nature, but making discrimination on those classifications should really stop.

    I think unintended consequences are everywhere in our daily lives. The law can be applied to many situations what we are familiar with. And I agree with you about their possibility to create problems due to their unexpectedness.
